AI for enhanced IoT security – Intrusion detection IoT devices are now used in almost every aspect of our society, ranging from smart homes and e-health to intelligent transportation and smart cities. However, IoT devices are very vulnerable to cyber-attacks due to their limited resources and extended attack surfaces. The project aims at designing, developing and deploying an AI-based intrusion detection system to protect IoT devices. AI tools should be light in terms of computational complexity and energy use and should be deployable in commercially available IoT devices.
Prerequisites:
Excellent programming skills. Programming IoT devices and microcontrollers.
