Description
Greenhouses represent an important source of food for Canadiens. However, due to the weather conditions, greenhouses are very costly in terms of energy needed for heating and time needed for monitoring. The project aims at designing, developing and building a solar-based IoT monitoring and control system as well as a heating system for greenhouses in Canada. The decision-making process will use AI technology. Moreover, the project will develop a smart phone app that will enable farmers to remotely monitor and control their greenhouses.
Prerequisites:
Excellent programming skills. Familiarity with programming IoT devices (such Raspberry pies) and microcontrollers.
