Description

IoT devices are now used in almost every aspect of our society, ranging from smart homes and e-health to intelligent transportation and smart cities. However, IoT devices are very vulnerable to cyber-attacks due to their heterogeneity, limited resources and extended attack surfaces. The project aims at designing, developing and deploying an AI-based trust management system to inform users of the trust level of their IoT devices. AI tools should be light in terms of computational complexity and energy use and should be deployable in commercially available IoT devices. A smart phone app will be developed to provide IoT users with information regarding the trust level of each IoT device, the reason behind any decline in the trust values, and any action to undertake if needed.

Prerequisites:

Excellent programming skills. Familiarity with programming IoT devices and microcontrollers.
