Description

This project aims to develop an open-source, cost-effective dashcam that captures essential evidence to determine fault in traffic incidents. Potential features include GPS-based data logging (time, date, speed, location, direction), video overlay with GPS data, impact detection via accelerometer, red light and speed camera alerts, a display for real-time driving and system information, Wi-Fi access for video download, trip analysis, low-power parking mode recording, and optional cloud storage integration.
