Description
Efficient road maintenance is fundamental to transportation safety, traffic fluidity, and cost optimization. Conventional road quality assessment methods such as visual inspection and specialized surveying vehicles are resource-intensive, limited in scalability, and lack real-time monitoring capability. To address these limitations, this project proposes the design and implementation of an embedded system-based road quality measurement platform utilizing advanced sensor technologies and real-time data processing. Students must possess strong background in the field of embedded systems and electronics, programming & software development, signal processing and data analysis. It is also nice to have good knowledge in networking and data communication.
