Description
Autonomous vehicles are becoming the hot trend pursued by both industry and academic worlds. One of the key challenges for autonomous vehicles is to test a autonomous vehicle under various driving environments. Numerous hours and man powers have been invested to conduct the road test under different conditions. The objective of this project is to create a software system that can emulate the diversified driving environments. By maintaining high fidelity to the real environments, the output of this software can be used as the input for testing intelligent systems that are being developed by different companies to drive a car under different road and city environments. Potentially this can save significant costs for the industry and shorten the time for autonomous vehicles to be on the market.
